Things are coming together...
Hello, people out there!
We are very excited to share the progress our little farm is making with you in the next months. Ever since we bought the property for Yep Yep Farm a few weeks ago, things have been rather magical. We got our first plants in the ground, mainly a small orchard of baby fruit trees and a little rhubarb patch. A big shout out and thank you again to all the helpers at the tree planting! It would have taken forever without you guys, and we are sore enough as it is.
Last week we went on to buy an ancient tractor, which we promptly named "Tutu", Hawaiian for grandpa. He came with a hawaii-style key. Here you can see Jason proudly plowing our future vegetable market garden on the 66-year old machine. One of the few tractors you can easily do wheelies on.
Through an incredible amount of good luck, we also had our first appearance in the Eugene Register Guard last Saturday, which you can check out here (click!).
That event snowballed into us getting in front of the camera for KVAL, first time on TV for both of us! The little story about our farm was broadcasted on Wednesday, the 15th of February 2015, and as long as the link holds up, you can check that out here (click!).
Feel free to follow us on facebook and twitter as we document or progress of building a local farm!
What an exciting and thrilling time! Thank you for reading and following our progress, we are so amazed and bedazzled by everything coming our way!
